Young Investigator Training Program (YITP) – ACRI & Italian Econometric Association (SIdE)
Several research prizes for young researchers were made available by ACRI, the Association of Foundations of Banking Origin and SIdE, the Italian Econometric Association, within the Young Investigator Training Program, associated with the Third Conference of the International Association for Applied Econometrics (IAAE 2016), to be held at the University of Milan-Bicocca on June 22nd-25th 2016 (http://iaae2016.info/).
Regulation
Eligibility conditions
Researchers in order to be eligible are required:
- To be below 40 years old, i.e. being born after 1st of January 1975.
- To have their paper accepted for presentation at IAAE 2016, either in a regular or in a poster session, and registered to the conference by April 18th 2016.
- To be able to visit for a period of no less than a month, comprehensive of the days spent at the conference, one of the 28 Italian institutions belonging to the YITP-IAAE2016 network.
Application
Eligible candidates are required to apply by submitting the application form, filled in all its parts, in PDF format; a scanned copy of their passport, reporting personal details, i.e., photo and date of birth,, a full CV, the proof of payment of the conference fee, the paper accepted for presentation at IAAE 2016 and a reference letter in support of their application to the YITP Research Prize should also be submitted in PDF form. Submission is electronic at IAAE2016@unimib.it with deadline 12 noon GMT April 18th 2016. Please apply as early as possible to facilitate the selection procedure.
Prize Award
Successful candidates will be required to indicate five possible locations for their visiting in the application form. Upon assignment of the researcher to the available institution, details concerning the visiting period will be discussed with the reference person at the assigned hosting institution. At the end of the visiting period (and no later than 22nd of July), the ACRI Foundation Research Prize payment request form must be submitted in PDF format by the researcher at IAAE2016@unimib.it. The form must be signed by both the researcher and the reference person at the hosting institution, and contain bank details of the researcher. Upon a regularity check, UNIMIB will then proceed with the payment of the prize to the researcher by means of bank transfer.
